| Argonaut-SW
Ideal for monitoring flows in small channels from 1 ft (0.3 m) to 16 ft (5 m) deep, the Argonaut-SW (Shallow Water) offers advanced Doppler performance for sites previously thought impossible to measure. Typically mounted on the bottom of a channel, stream, or pipe, the SW measures water level and vertically-integrated velocity, making it ideal for sites with reversing or stratified flow conditions. Features - 2-D water velocity measurement (via two, angled acoustic beams) - along channel and vertical velocity components
- Water level measurement (via vertical acoustic beam)
- Automatic sample volume adjustment with changing water level (so that the maximum vertical extent of water velocity is measured)
- 3-MHz acoustic frequency
- Internal 4-MB recorder
- Temperature sensor
- RS-232/SDI-12 communication protocols
- Multi-cell current profiling
- Optional 4-20 mA or 0-5V analog output module
- All Argonaut-SW software is compatible with Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, and 95.
- ViewArgonaut software: for instrument setup, data collection, and postprocessing
- PDA software (SonUtils and Deployment module)
- Output compatible with FlowPack velocity-indexing software tool
- Polycarbonate mounting plate
Options - External LCD Data Display
- Modbus Interface Module (MIM)
- Mounting Shoe
